EXPOSED 2019 Montage Video.

About EVENT FOUNDER: SUZANNE WARNER

As a two-time amelanotic survivor, I decided it was my purpose to create a sophisticated yet fun awareness campaign to help conquer what is now the fastest-growing form of cancer.  With 100% of the profits going to research, we can continue to save lives, including two close friends of mine.  Along with a disconcerting survival rate, melanoma is now getting connected with breast, prostate and other forms of cancer. Pediatric has become widely prevalent in the last decade . North Texas is a hotbed for the entire United States.

In the inaugural year, I was fortunate enough to be able to co-chair this event with the lovely Jamie Jo Boulogne. Jamie’s warm heart, stoic presence and discerning taste level resonated throughout the event. The night was in memory of her husband, Bobby Boulogne, former COO of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, who lost his battle with melanoma. A beautiful video was played as a touching tribute to Bobby, a celebration of his life, and the people he made smile. Jamie’s passion and dedication for raising awareness and to elevate the level of research has been inspiring.

Three live auction categories were presented: Art, Fashion, and Travel - all of which were passions of Bobby Boulogne's.

AIM at Melanoma

AIM has created the first-of-its-kind melanoma primary tissue bank. The primary melanoma tumor holds the entire genetic code. To understand and conquer melanoma—to decipher the code—we must study primary tumor tissue. To study primary tissue, we must bank it. 100% of the net proceeds from the event will support AIM's International Melanoma Tissue Bank Consortium (IMTBC).

AIM at Melanoma is globally engaged and locally invested in advancing the battle against melanoma through innovative research, legislative reform, education, and patient and caregiver support.

Founded in 2004, AIM at Melanoma is the largest international melanoma foundation seeking the cure for melanoma. We are dedicated to:

• Innovation in Melanoma Research

• Legislation, Policy & Advocacy

• Information & Resources
